Description
A short narrative game about the pressures we put on ourselves and the well-meaning, but sometimes harmful, things we hear from others.
Help Jackie cope with her self-judgement and guide her through an increasingly stressful and uncomfortable dentist visit.
The game is a visual novel with meaningful choices and a creepy and uncomfortable art style and atmosphere.
How to play
PLAY WITH SOUND! Select dialogue choices with your mouse. Play directly in the browser (launches in a new tab) or download and open the .html file. Play fullscreen for the best experience, but the game supports dynamic layout and is also playable on mobile. No previous onboarding is needed to play.

Background & Credits
The game was made in Twine by Jakob Ferenius and originally started as a two-week student project at Futuregames Stockholm in the spring of 2024. All assets were created from scratch except of most of the sounds, whereof only the flossing and plaque removal sounds were completely original; the rest of the sounds were sourced online and edited. In Twine, the Harlowe format was used with a bunch of custom javaScript and CSS.
